Conviction Over Convenience
Kannan Srinivasan immigrated from India in the 90s and has lived in Loudoun for over 20 years. As a finance and business leader, Kannan helped grow a small technology insurance business in Sterling into an industry pioneer that created thousands of jobs, and he helped navigate José Andrés’ restaurant group through the depths of the pandemic.
Kannan’s values come from experience. As a young man, he was hit by a truck and was denied Medicaid assistance for thousands of dollars. Now he serves as Chair of the Virginia Medicaid Board—appointed by Governors McAuliffe and Northam—and he helped to expand Medicaid to more than 2 million Virginians.

The 26th District
The new 26th House District of Virginia is located in eastern Loudoun County. The voters of the new 26th district have been represented by Delegates Suhas Subramanyam, Wendy Gooditis, and David Reid. In the 2023 election, we will be choosing a new Delegate to represent us.
